Between April 5th-6th, 2016, the South Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Conference took place in Sofia, Bulgaria.
During this event, Prof. Robert Gavriliuc (Romanian Geoexchange Society) has made a presentation about the geothermal heat pumps and on the huge opportunities for energy savings and energy security they can offer. The presentation has also revealed – besides the technological aspects – the changing market patterns in Europe, particularly the South East, and address how both municipalities and industry can make the most of this valuable and competitive resource.
The presentation covered several already finalized EU funded projects.
An important part of the presentation was dedicated to the Cheap-GSHPs project.
