ENCOURAGING RESULTS IN THE FIRST FIELD TESTS WITH THE PILING OF COAXIAL GROUND SOURCE HEAT EXCHANGERS AND WITH THE SIMULATIONS ON IMPROVED DESIGNS

New drilling machine components were developed and tested in the field. The first results are very encouraging. Tubes with larger diameters than the ones actually used were installed in record time.

Simulations are promising important yield improvements thanks to larger external diameters. Net, installation time reductions and yield improvements hold the potential of drilling costs reductions to be confirmed with further field tests and thermal response tests during this summer.
